Popular Nollywood actress, Stella Damasus, has taken to social media to warn women not to rush into marriage.
The 44-year-old actress, who has been married twice, advised women in a video shared on her official Instagram page to research their potential suitor and watch for warning signs before deciding to settle down with them.
She went on to share how she was served “breakfast” by a man she thought was her soulmate. According to the mother-of-two, she met a man who ticked all the boxes and had the same interests as hers, and she thought he was “right” for her. Unfortunately, the relationship ended sadly.
“Las Las, na everybody go chop breakfast”, she said lightheartedly.
“Don’t rush into marriage. Take your time to know and understand each other very well, and please don’t ignore the RED FLAGS”, she added in the caption.
The video has since drawn mixed reactions on social media, with internet users slamming her for giving marriage counseling despite the scandal surrounding her second marriage to actor and movie director, Daniel Ademinokan.
