Apostle Johnson Suleman, the General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries (OFM), has responded to the controversy over reports that he escaped an attack by gunmen in a bulletproof car.
It is worth recalling that on Friday, October 21st, the General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries survived an assassination attempt in Auchi, Edo State.
His convoy was attacked at around 17:45 p.m. on October 21 at Warreke-Auchi Road in Edo North Senatorial District, killing seven people – four police officers, a driver, and a lady. Luckily for the cleric, he and his family escaped unharmed.
After the incident, the pastor was criticized on social media by Nigerians, who slammed him for riding in a bulletproof car while his assistants were unprotected.
Responding to the backlash, Apostle Suleman said during a recent sermon in his church that if he had the money, he would buy a bulletproof car for every member of his church.
