When Meghan Markle shared a Valentine’s Day photo on Saturday, one family resemblance immediately caught everyone’s attention.
The Duchess of Sussex, 44, posted an Instagram image showing Prince Harry, 41, holding their daughter, Princess Lilibet, 4, in an outdoor field. The father-daughter pair’s matching red hair was impossible to miss, perfectly showcased as they posed together with Lilibet wearing a pink ballet outfit and holding red balloons.

“These two + Archie = my forever Valentines ♥️,” Meghan captioned the Feb. 14 post, also acknowledging their 6-year-old son, Prince Archie.

The Valentine’s photo offered a rare public glimpse of Lilibet, whose red hair clearly mirrors her father’s distinctive coloring. The outdoor setting and casual nature of the image gave it an intimate, personal feel that contrasted with more formal royal photography.
Just one day earlier, on Friday, Feb. 13, Meghan and Harry were spotted at Funke in Beverly Hills for a pre-Valentine’s dinner date. They kept things low-key with casual outfits: Meghan in a brown jacket and black pants, Harry in a black jacket and jeans.

The restaurant holds meaning for the couple. Meghan celebrated her 44th birthday there in August 2025.
This Valentine’s Day marked a different celebration from 2025, when the couple was separated by Harry’s duties. He was in Canada for the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler while Meghan stayed home with their children. That year, she posted a black-and-white photo of them kissing and wrote, “Back home taking care of our babies, and missing my Valentine, as he continues on at the Invictus Games.”
She added, “My love, I will eat burgers & fries and fish & chips with you forever. Thank you for you.”
Meghan also shared videos in 2025 of Archie and Lilibet enjoying a Valentine’s Day-themed breakfast.
The couple’s romance began in summer 2016 when they connected through a mutual friend and started dating immediately after meeting.
